When I started my path of natural healing for MS there wasn’t a lot of information. That’s why I started this blog, to help you get the answers you’re looking for to have a better quality of life.

What is MS?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory and autoimmune neurological disease. It can lead to severe physical or cognitive disability and neurological problems. A 20-year study found the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is the main cause of MS. Having EBV gives a person a 32-fold increased risk of developing MS, which is 10 times higher than any other known disease factor.
If you would like to learn more about the EBV read:
However, EBV has infected more than 90% of the global population and only a small percentage have MS. This proves something else is involved!
It’s environmental factors that trigger the onset of MS.
What is your diet like? Do you live a healthy lifestyle by exercising and getting enough sleep? How many chemical toxins are you exposed to? Are you always stressed out? – These are some questions you need to ask yourself.
Researchers discovered people with MS have poorer gut health. For some reason, they have a higher amount of bad bacteria in their gut than healthy people. In other words, they are missing the good bacteria. Eating a salad topped with croutons and cheese doused in salad dressing along with a diet soda is not a healthy diet. Instead, load up on a wide range of vegetables and avoid heavily processed foods and sugar. This will tremendously improve your overall health!
Every bite you take is either fighting disease or feeding it.
Learn to Manage MS With These Tips:
Whether you’ve just been diagnosed with MS or you’ve had MS for quite a while, chronic inflammation is something you can reverse. If you are tired of the drug’s terrible side effects, there is a better way of getting your MS into remission and that’s by using food as your medicine.
Of course, there are other factors involved. Since everyone is different you’ll have to become a detective and figure out your triggers. But, I’m here to help you.
Your First Step to Manage MS Naturally:
Your first step is cleaning up your diet, no more fast food restaurants! Instead, learn which foods are healing and which foods will repair the damaged cells in your body.
If this feels overwhelming, I recommend breaking it down into easier steps. Begin with “How to Heal Multiple Sclerosis with Food” and move on at your own pace.
Besides eating healthy you need to live a healthy lifestyle. Exercise is extremely important along with removing toxins such as chemicals and heavy metals. MS is multifactorial, meaning more than one thing is the cause of MS.
Triggers to MS:
- Poor diet (processed foods, refined sugar, and lack of fruits and vegetables)
- Infections (bacterial overgrowth, parasites, viruses, and yeast overgrowth)
- Environmental Toxins (heavy metals, mold, pesticides, etc.)
- Chronic Stress (especially emotional stress)
- Hormones (cortisol, insulin, vitamin D – yes, it’s a hormone)
The steps to healing from MS include:
- Prioritizing nutrition
- Incorporating regular exercise
- Taking time for self-care
- Choosing a clean environment
- Handling stress effectively
By using these strategies, you can help your body get back in balance.
MS is a scary disease but there are things YOU can do and MS Wellness Route will help you each step of the way.
