The easiest and most flavorful lemon rub you will ever make. It’s perfect with fish, poultry, and/or vegetables.
What exactly is a rub? A rub is a simple and quick marinade that is applied before the meat is cooked.
Rubs are easy to make, and this one is no exception.
I have a small Rosemary herb plant in my kitchen so when I added Rosemary to the lemon and dill, it brought out a nice robust flavor.
Combine all the ingredients and rub onto the meat of your choice to release the flavor. You can use it before you grill, bake/roast, or pan-fry using a little coconut oil in the pan first.
You can even use it on top of your favorite vegetables.
Grilling, roasting, or frying your vegetables brings out such a delicious zesty taste, that even your pickiest vegetable eaters will love it!
Rosemary Lemon Rub
This Rosemary Lemon Rub helps create such a quick and easy one-pan meal. This is my favorite way of meal preparation – easy preparing and easy cleaning!
Pour the rub over your meat and/or vegetables of choice and spread using a basting brush or the back of a spoon it’s ready to cook.
If you double-dip the brush or spoon toss out any remaining sauce, you don’t want any contamination from raw meat (especially chicken).
If you are using it on top of meat and vegetables, you may want to make a double batch (depending on how much lemon you like).
Place your cooked vegetables on a bed of dark leafy greens and pour any uncontaminated juice leftover on top to make a salad.
This Rosemary Lemon Rub is so delicious, it is definitely a crowd-pleaser. You’ll probably want to make it again and again!
Delicious and super easy, you can’t get better than that!
