Echo Devices Make Life Easier With MS

I have two Echo devices—a Dot and a Show. We use both of them every day. Alexa helps us control our lights, blinds, TVs, and smart plugs. With Christmas around the corner, it’s great to have our holiday lights hooked up to smart plugs. We can turn them on and off with just a voice command.

Alexa also plays music, whether it’s my favorite tunes or something for meditation. I’ll even ask Alex to play calming music when we’re dog-sitting, he gets separation anxiety at times (see picture below).

We also enjoy listening to our favorite football team when we can’t watch it on TV. We get weather alerts, reminders, and quick answers to everyday questions. Setting timers and alarms is super easy, too. It makes life a bit simpler, especially when your energy is low or you have mobility issues.
