It’s finally here – Amazon Prime Day!

Prime Day is a once-a-year sale at Amazon. It’s like Black Friday for Amazon which means HUGE savings! And I’m talking thousands of items on sale. Below you’ll find a list of items I think you will find interesting. I’ll be updating this list regularly as I find more great deals so check back often. 

Prime Day 2023 starts Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 12 am PST and ends on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at 11:59 PST!

Amazon Alexa Devices

Amazon’s Echo device “Alexa” helps people with multiple sclerosis (MS). It activates other compatible smart devices through voice activation. Such as thermostat controls, light switches, televisions, etc. Alexa comes in handy if you struggle with vision problems, walk, or you have weakness in your hands. 

You can ask Alexa to do many things for you. Such as playing your favorite music, reading a virtual book, turning on the lights, or calling a phone number for you. Alexa can even order take-out food or order an Uber. 

I own two Alexa devices, an Echo Show in my kitchen and an Echo Dot in my living room. I use both of them for many things such as opening and closing my blinds or to tell me how many tablespoons are in one cup.

If you’re curious I own more than one Sunsa Smart Wand to open my mini blinds in my living room and office. It’s awesome, I don’t have to reach over my sofa or desk to open or close the blinds I just say “Alexa open (insert name of blind).” Alex can turn our TV on and off when prompted and I can tell her what I want to watch. For example, “Alexa, turn on Netflix.” I also set Alexa up to automatically turn the lights on fifteen minutes before the sun sets.
